The choice Here I lie in a dreamer's wake, But half asleep and half awake, Struggling with the seen and unseen, The silent nod and inbetween. Lord knows I need the silent nod, The dream is but some goldenrod And if I let it filter through, It surely will my sleep undo. If I could, I would the two, But this I know I cannot do, I can pursue but only one And with this, the other undone. Sometimes a choice for you is made, Without your help or conscious aid, And here the choice for me was done But can you guess which choice had won? |

Nice rhyming. I would say the sleep overcame. |

Thought I would take a wee skip into memory lane. I figure the sleep won? Carpe' Diem |
