Please think before you do,
please give yourself a chance.
Life isn't really that bad,
you've only seen it at a glance.

Please give us a chance,
and you very well may see,
that life really is fun,
really fun to be!

So think again,
before it's too late,
Sucide is horrible,
dying can wait.

Dying seems to be the only escape for some, sad, but a harsh reality. I grieve for those that do take their own life, but I rejoice that the pain that drove them there is at an end.

Depression almost deprived me of the greatest joy I've ever known... good poem!

Suicide has played a big part in my life. I am starting to overcome it, though.

Very good work, Sundance! Although, I can only hope that those that feel that pain...that want to end their life... I hope that they can realize that it is the way they are feeling that they want to end, and not really their life, right?

In this sad worlds of ours, sorrow comes to
all and it often comes with bitter agony.
Perfect relief is not possible, except with
time. You cannot now believe that you will
ever feel better. But this is not true. You
are sure to be happy again.Knowing this
truly believing this will make you less
miserable now.I have had enough experience
to make this statment.

I was taught that suicide was for cowards, it's the ones left behind who really suffer. And in doing so, the person committing the suicide.. takes all his or her loved ones with him in his misery.

Pretty selfish act, I think.

but just my humble opinion.

The reason I wrote this poem, is because my friend tried to commit suicide, but failed,(thank god). I totally agree on the selfish act thing!
