Teach to me a word that describes my love for you
And if such a word exists, is it one that you’ll use too?

Show to me a look that will brighten my every day
Then make to me a promise you’ll always look at me that way.

Let me feel a touch that will make the love in my soul swell
Then I will touch you just the same to show you’ve taught me well.

Give to me emotions that will stand the tests of time.
Then stand in front of God and friends and tell the world.. "She’s mine."
