Can you see where this one is going to? If not, read on. Seagulls Walking on the strand Sky an azure blue Waves gently roll No one else in view Gulls careen and call Soaring on wingtips I toss up to them Crumbled cracker bits Floating on the wind I gaze into the sky One repays gratitude Crapping in my eye Alicat ------------------ Le Jongleur Aspirante |

Although that story is quite sad, How that bird fixed your wagon, Think how bad it might have been If it had been a dragon! That ain't enough to ease your mind? Perhaps this little fact will Make you feel lucky that It weren't no teradactyl! |

You get just what you deserve.. hehehe.. Now if it were a dragon would you have crap on your whole body? I don't think that I want to think about that anymore.. Thatnks for this interesting piece.. Now I'll have to keep looking skyward, but not for too long.. Love, Lady ------------------ Live in my world just once and you'll find yourself enraptured. |

Seagull doody, Dragon doody. Being mad is quite insane. Now wouldn't you be sad, If what hit you was a plane? I thought this poem was very funny. I enjoy the lighter side of poetry very much, especially irony. You have made my day very bright, though still darque. Thank you, Alicat! ------------------ KEEP THE DARQUENESS ALIVE! Darquewing |

Ali Next time - don't shortchange the gulls with crummy bits of crackers - give them something they really use in their craw - like a firecracker or cherry bomb. lol I liked your twist at the end |
