Hello Rose remember me? When I was little? And only three? You cooked and cleaned and stayed all night. To make sure things were all right. You took such a measley pay. And today I wonder why you stayed. It takes a strong woman to raise eight kids. We never appreciated everything you did. We wanted our mother oh so bad. You just couldn't replace her. No matter if you had given us everything you had. I wish I could find you you tell you these things. But when daddy died you simply walked away. And I think thats the way you intended it to stay. Cathy called your sister one day. She told her you had passed away. Why do I find it hard to believe? I have to admit it was a crushing blow. Considering daddy had just died. I felt so low. I wish I could stop crying. It hurts so bad. We just didn't realize it. You had given everything you had. I'm grown now I have children of my own. And it would be nice if I could just call you on the phone. Just to tell you. You weren't only a housekeeper. You were so much more. It was just something I couldn't tell you before. You were truly a friend. And I just didn't know it. --------------------------------------------- Goodbye Rose. I hope you had a good life.I love you and you will always be in my prayers.I'm sure you up there with daddy now.And I hope to see you again. |
