My poetry (if it can even be called that) Is like my life to restrained Limited Controlled To busy attempting to follow other peoples rules Trying to find meter A rhythm even dabbling in rhyme Never writing just what I feel Always thinking within the lines A good poem can awaken… Bring courage when there is none there Better then any drugs Or alcohol consumed A good poem does not fear death nor life It transcends it A good poem isn’t concern with rejection or praise It has no boundaries and no sense of shame A good poem is better then what can be seen It’s better then life Much better then me A good poem matters and should never feel restrained I only wish, I could write one someday |

great point we should never liit our thoughts to any limits set by control, we are all free to sail along at our pace going places our minds take us...so soar to the highest hights and let nothing hold you back. |
