I float upon a distant cloud As mysteries of your love enshroud, For in my heart your words resound, You bring such joy, but yet confound. Empyrian delights you bring, With voices of the gods you sing, But then you say it matters not, Where one seeks their Camelot. A devil or an angel be? You carry me to praecipe, And yet I yearn my Lorelei, Upon the rocks, I do espy. The day shall come when love will die, Within my heart my soul shall cry, It matters not for I shall seek, My Lorelei, for I am weak. [This message has been edited by Tim (edited 08-01-99).] |

Here at the nursing home, they let us have access to the 'puters every night for an hour, right after the Lawrence Welk show. Actually, I like to think I am in the twilight years of my middle age and not an older poet.(this is a joke by the way) glad you enjoyed the poem. |
