Writer's Block!!!!!!!!

If you've been wondering why my submissions have been few and far between lately... here's why ------>

I have what's known as writer's block
I swear my brain is numb
The words, the ideas, they just aren't there
Inspiration refuses to come
My idea light bulb has burnt out
It must have blown a fuse
And it's been this way for so long
I'm starting to wonder, what's the use?
It's seems like there's nothing I can do
to help myself along
this rocky path of trying to write
where everything comes out wrong!
Nouns are useless, adjectives fail me
verbs just simply won't work
And then when I finally put SOMETHING together
I find at least one mistake or quirk
So it ends up with all the rest
torn up and thrown away
where the "Great Pile of the Disgarded"
seems to grow more every day
I can't write poetry, I can't write prose
A novel? Ha, yeah right...
For now I'm still stuck where I am,
waiting to see the light
I can only hope that some day soon
I'll be able to write once more
and that finally some idea will come
knocking at my mind's door
But until then, I'm stuck in a rut,
in mental constipation
So lately if you've heard some blood-curling screams...
It's only me in my frustration.

Yep, been there, done that!!!! I think though, you may be outta the rut. This was excellent. Thanks for the smile...definitely can relate.
