I don't understand why the dark side you choose,
It may be fun now, but there all gonna lose.

I just don't understand the choice that you make
When all evil is good for is take, take, take, take.

There's no truth in evil for it has all died
So why would you choose to fill your heart with such pride?

I just don't understand to choose bad over good
For there's much with God that I have withstood.

Sometimes I feel as I've let evil take stride
But I know that there's goodness in this soul inside.

Were here for a reason to make a great choice
So why would you choose the Evil one's voice?

Why go to the dark side when they will not win
They'll all burn with Satan, that master of sin.

Somebody help me understand why this you'd choose
When there's so much to life, and your soul you could lose?

They choose evil because they know they're not worthy of good....it's the easy way out. It's a poem that inspires thought. Good job.

i think some people do evil because they were never taught the goodness of good and god. some people also choose evil, i think, because they are selfish and don't care if they hurt other people.

Thank you, dear Lady. I will write verse to explain this to you. Balladeer, revered Elder, you are not entirely correct. While it is easier to live in Darkness, being worthy of the Light is not the issue.

I have to state, staying in Darkness is the easy way out, and none of us are worthy of the Light! We all fall short! Sometimes people think to go in the light they would have to give up to much. But no one could be freer than in the Light!
