In My Thoughts High atop a mountain, Where eagles rule the sky, To witness this creation, Of beauty, undenied. The strong and raging rivers, The lakes of emerald green, The snow capped peaks of jagged rock, A silent, sweet serene. To gaze upon the distant life, Of the valley down below, One ponders insignificance, In this, our earthly role. And yet, through friends as true as you, One finds a sense of peace. To know these ties which bind us, Are never to decease. Now as I watch the setting sun, For words, I’m at a loss. For now it’s all come down to me, And you…..within my thoughts. Beautiful....I have felt like this many times. Keep up the excellent work. ------------------ *Krista Knutson* "I will sail my vessel 'till the river runs dry, like a bird upon the wind, these waters are my sky..." Garth Brooks |

Marvelous imagery, my dear. It paints a lovely picture of you. I could only hope that someday someone will think as well of me. ------------------ Shall I indulge in flights of fancy hampered by clipped wings? DreamEvil© |

I enjoyed this very much, it made me think of a dear friend of mine who I am miles away from now. Beautiful scenes you created. |

Lost Dreamer, I am very glad you enjoyed it! And if it made you think of someone dear to you that is far away, it served it's purpose. What a wonderful compliment. |

Satiate: It served its purpose very well then! *S* It made me think of places I've been, places I'd like to go... and a friend who's always within my thoughts! |
