I am the evil one
that comes upon you in darkness
I take away your joy
and fill you with madness

The envy you feel
deep within your soul
I make you feel
like your never really whole

I mercilessly rake your heart
your mind and your reason
soon you no longer see the truth
but my work is never done

I love to work unknowingly
because you never see
you think it's someone else's fault
and yet it's really me

I am the evil one
this one you cannot see
I am the evil one
this thing you call jealousy

This is just the kind of poem I enjoy reading

Ah, yes. The green eyed one who likes to hang out at bars in the hopes that you'll beat the snot out of somebody for looking at your partner to long. Or around the water cooler at work for the time you trip somebody up to get that promotion. And at the auto showroom floor for when you decide to buy the $40K car because Bob down the street has one. Yah! I've seen him. If he comes across your way, squash 'em like the bug he is.

Oh, by the way; a fine bit of work here. Thanks for sharing
