As I walk along the path of my journey
I thank god you are apart of it
Even though you are far away
In spirit you are here
And I feel you....
You walk beside me
As my shadow, never leaving my side
You touch me
Like the soft whisper of the wind
Brushing my face with such gentleness and warmth
You light up my existence
my being, like the sun lights up the world.
You sing the sweetest songs
of hope and love
that touches my very soul
Like the hypnotic oceans and magic sounds of the sea shore
You are my life
You are my world
You are the moon which
accompanies the stars that i look up to every night
Before I lay my souls to rest
