Listen…do you hear the sound?
It is there in the sadness of silence
Shadows fall in exquisite form
Lovers embrace no longer
Listen closely…hear with your mind
Your ears have lost sensitivity to the noise
Do not speak
Tell me not that you understand
Concentrate
Not on my words
But on the emotion around you
It will cannibalize you eternally
If you give merit to what you cannot hear
That is true my love
Why some turn a deaf ear
Listen…do you grasp what has happened?
Pitches not in tune with the surroundings
Try with all your might to hear the call
Take inside of you what you have heard
Deep inside where voices do not reach
Allow yourself to go there
Hear the noise
Shattering, piercing
My heart is breaking
Into pieces
Bit by bit
Over you
But you cannot hear
You have not learned to listen
With your heart.
