A Beginning

When we leave here,
May our souls rest
Side by side,
Wander in and out
Of time,
Freely from mountain
To stream to sea.

May we live within
Each others soul,
No more regrets
Of all that was
Said,
No more regrets
Of all that was
Done.

Soaring through our
New world,
No voices to speak,
One mind,
One thought,
We surround ourselves
With one another.

We make up for time lost,
And love each other
To no end.

Thank you again. I have dug up an old floppy disc of poems that I liked enough to keep, and I'm glad that I did. I am very happy to find out that it can be enjoyed by others. I sure enjoyed writing them, and when I read them back to myself, for the most part I have a good feeling about them. But after a while you start to wonder if you haven't forced them to grow on yourself, if only to pat yourself on the back. I love seeing others enjoy it, too. I wish I knew about this site six months ago. There is some really awesome work at this site, and I'm glad a few awesome poets actually like my poems. I guess that's a long enough post this time around. Thanks again, all.

Tyson...this is absolutely beautiful. Your words are so sincerly spoken. It would have been a terrible shame had this one been lost and not shared for our viewing pleasure.

Tyson, I had to reply to this yet another time as I have come back and read it numerous times since your posting. It is so romantically beautiful...isn't that what true love is all about, no regrets, no need for words?

Hoot,
That is what true love is about, yes. Thank you for another kind reply. I am assuming you are online. See you in a minute or two, hopefully.
