Countless Age Countless age Of ancient voice, your Sorrow sifts our joy, Our fear. Ageless pose for history's sake, Tragic eyes see only me, and Hold me in that era old gaze. Allow me the honor, Of dreaming your Dreamful pasts, from Your time to mine, Of passion lost and paradise found. A sacred time you lived, Feared God above, so I wonder, will I prove our Worth for you, this strange new age? if you Dream with me? Through song and verse alone, Fruitful union, Anonymous chant to beautiful Bach, Sacred text to Milton's fervor, Are we so remote? Ancient voice from hills to sea to heaven above, Sightless souls, today they grow. For us who see, May only you, Set us free. |

My God John, beautiful...take me back with you, I've always wanted to return to the days of yore...: ------------------ Words that enlighten the soul are more precious than jewels. ~Isis~ |

Tyson, This is a magical, mystical, beautiful piece. It's depths so hard to grasp at first. This part is classic, such well worded lines "Ageless pose for history's sake, Tragic eyes see only me, and Hold me in that era old gaze." ------------------ "In the depths of winter, I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer" ~Albert Camus |

Isis and Hoot, Oh thank you both very much. I didn't expect replies like that for this one. I had problems with this one from the start but Liked some of the lines. Thanks for the encouragement. Much appreciated. Tyson |

Very nice - I read this at least three times - and I have to agree with Hoot on her choice of favorite lines.... Nancy |

Thank you, Nan, Glad you liked it. Glad you liked those lines, too. I actually thought those were the most out of place for some reason. I guess I was wrong. Thank you. Tyson |
