Her thoughts bulldozed my skin A thousand needles strong Her desires leveled my soul Desolate landscape, scattered mortar Her needs ravaged my body Shivering sinew, aching ash Her mind pierced my skull Fierce intensity, molten lava Her sadness crumbled my defenses Frail fragments, gossamer thin Her resolve strengthened mine Never to pine in forgotten fields Her recovery presaged mine Phoenix like, sun seeking Her future stretches forth Restless wings, dreams unfulfilled My future mirrors hers Treading the path of infinite shroud Do answers lurk in distant galaxies Answers manifest in impromptu impulse. |

Male and Female species always a mystery to be solved. Thank you Denise. I'm glad you enjoyed it Caroline, I'm also glad that as a woman I don't think more like a man, with all due respect to Prof. Higgins. |
