Thank you all for you wonderful wishes!

Christian Michael arrived at 8:46 AM (ET)
September 15, 1999 weighing in at 7 lbs,2 oz.
And what a precious little angel face! I'm serious! He didn't even have that wrinkley
newborn look. Just absolute perfection!

My daughter Caroline is doing well. She looks like she went through a war, though, It was a very rough labor. Please continue your prayers for my baby! She needs them!

It was a long rough night but we are all thrilled! Thanks again for all your wishes, prayers and concern.

On behalf of the Michaels of this forum, may I make a minor suggestion? Switch the first and middle names. Trust me. We Mikes are the cream of the crop. lol

By the way - congratulations. Especially for a healthy baby and a healthy mother.

Congrats! Lady D... My best to you and yours. I understand about the rough labor... my wife went through emergency-C after 12 hours the first time round. Again, you have my best.

May your baby be your pride and joy. Someone else here is also expecting a baby. I can't say who because It's not in my position to say. My prayers are with you and your new baby. Remember this happy moment every time you wake up in the middle of the night to change stinki diapers!

Denise...Hugs and kisses to you all!

You've got a brand new Baby
to kiss and hold and love
Sweet as any Angel
A Gift from up above

But when you change his nappie
Just one thing, don't forget!
Bring along an extra
Cause he can't aim good yet!

And you'll be the one who's christened
By your tiny bundle o' joy
There's nothing quite like having
A brand new baby boy

****Congratulations!****

P.S. Hey looks like your daughter inherited your good taste in naming babies! *LOL*

Congratulations on the newborn. A beutiful new life is always a miracle to cherish. I am sure you will have much to write about in the coming months. Will be looking forward to hopefully reading some new work inspired by your new inspiration.

Wow! Thank you all so much for all the great wishes! I'm overcome by all you wonderful people here!

Caroline, yes I think we do have a knack for picking names!

Hoot-I don't know how you deal with it on a daily basis. I remembered (sort of) what labor was all about. I got a refresher course last night and this morning. I'm glad it's over and everyone is fine!

Oh, Caroline, if you don't mind, I'd love to print your poem and give it to my Caroline.
I'll wait 'till she's not so sore and can laugh without going into agony!

Thanks again all!

I'm still rolling over that dancing baby!!!
