Where you came from we were never quite sure, but one day we looked around and there you were. A little bit tired and a little bit weary your past was unknown and your uncertian future a little scary. You became a good friend in no time at all. You were there whenever we would call. When you bore your young we welcomed you in to our home in hope that you would not roam. We accepted your son as our own. In no time at all you brought us more joy. 5 girls and 1 little boy. Filling our lives with love , we gave you all we had hoping it was enough. As is too often the case you left us with only a memory to embrace. Now we find ourselves wishing you werent gone, but in your abscence we will love all your daughters and your sons. Our hearts are feeling a little empty and blue. Ms. Kitty, whereever you may go know ALWAYS we will miss you! |

dare I respond to a poem about wayward kitties aboandoning their young? I think I'd better let this golden opportunity pass. Pandora and Redwriter are ever vigilant. Nice poem, though. |
