Traffic sounds, a whisper in the trees
I realize that these
are sounds of my loneliness

tears crashing upon my hands
heart tightened with restricting bands
signs of my loneliness

a soft sigh sounds so loud
in the middle of a noisy crowd
need feeds my loneliness

wondering in my mind
if love is truly blind
distance increases my loneliness

Very well done! If someone did not know what loneliness was, they certainly would after reading this! FABULOUS!!!

Heart-rending verse, Lady deVine. I feel for you.

Some say we always are alone.
Some say we never are.
Philosophers and Christians may,
At times, have thoughts quite far.

It's true we always are alone
At least, deep down inside.
It's true we never are alone
For that's why Jesus died.

But one can take opinions all
And stack them on the shelf.
Philosophy means little when
You wake up by yourself.

If admiration means anything, deVine one, you will never be alone.
