HEART'S CORE You are so easy to love; my heart's core feels a longing when I am near you, and not; your visage has burned into my brain and no matter what I am doing or thinking, it always returns to that spot again You are so easy to hold; your shoulders have strength to bind me to you and never let go, I don't want to let go Your eyes have power untold from that place where you look at me I am transported there: I want to stay there is much more I wish to know You are so easy to touch: the sensations are almost too much at times; your power drenches me and I cannot help but give in; I go always with the flow you create within me You are so easy to kiss: your lips serenely able to disturb me; and know how they affect me when you are drawn inward to feel the reaction You are so easy to feel: do you Have you any idea what you have created here? the torrid wakings of ageless night have thus abated; your hand in mine clears the senses completely You are so easy to please: Such moved intent, in the haste of heat, arms not soon spent, my hands find this work utterly pleasing; this business of bringing you to ecstasy From this love, I will not therefore relent so slowly in night's darkened skies comes down twinned sighs of energy spent holding us, rapt, in their watching eyes. -- August 1999 |
