Whenever I get down and feelin' real bad I remember a pair of Harley's we once had I reminince of visegrips attached to a busted shifter And holding the surer hand of a favorite sister Of laughter, love, shimmering silver moonlight And the thunder of our engines on a California night I can still feel the wind rushing to embrace And I can remember the moon we chose to chase The life that vibrated just above the road The smile on my sister's face was all that needed told A wicked wildness was our fate to tame How we loved it so.....just our kinda game How I miss you my sweet sister, my big Bro Happy remembrances cast a bittersweet glow I pack away my memories as the blues take fight On down the road, once upon a California night. (c) 6/96 ------------------ Words lay dormant in the recesses of the mind til called forth to a labor of love. By WildChild |
