Adorable - I'd have to say;

Before my eyes I've seen today
A miracle - a baby boy;
Behold my heart so full of joy;
You'd love those fingers, tiny toes

Blue searching eyes and button nose;
Of course, so cute, that little dear
You'd always want to hold him near;

I can't believe he's here at last;
So glad we are the waiting's past

And let me be the first to say

Just perfect he's in ev'ry way;
Oh, Mom and Dad are truly blest
Yet one day soon they'll need some rest!

(for Christian Michael, 9/15/99)

I trust the new grandson is doing well and it sounds like Grandma Denise can't wait to babysit

Thank you all for your kind comments. I had to take my daughter back to the hospital on Sunday afternoon. She has some type of infection. The fever is still with her after IV antibiotics. They are still running tests. Please pray for her. I'll keep you posted. Thank you.

Denise,
I will keep your daughter in my prayers, too. Most definitely. Very nice poem, by the way. Congratulations on your grandson. Take care.

Grandma' best. Hope you'll be writing
more about Christian as he grows and
the joys of grandparenting. I miss
my grandchildren soooo much. My
daughter lives out of state. You
have much to be grateful for...

Thank you all for your prayers for my daughter. She came home from the hospital yesterday afternoon. She was diagnosed with a kidney and bladder infection. She was in the hospital for 5 days on IV antibiotics and will be on oral antibiotics for 10 more days at home. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. Thanks again everyone!

How sweet, and the acrostic worked out nicely too!
