I know you are out there
I see you in my dreams
I'm waiting, patiently
watching for you to appear
I wonder where you are
who is in your dreams?
somewhere you're waiting
looking behind every face
will I recognize you?
I long for your embrace
holding back my love
for only you to partake
pretending not to search
I pray for the moment
when our hearts will meet
until then alone I sit
waiting for you.

Your poem just reminded me how very much alike we are!! People!! Often we believe we are alone, but we truly aren't!! We all are going through the same things, but some never remember this fact!! I enjoyed your poem!!
