He came when I was unafraid
and trusting and unaware
took the little girl life
that I would have known

He came when I was alone
and defenseless and told
me it was love
which distorted my view of that word
forever

He came when he knew
I was small and he was big
and I didn't know I could
say no

He came, yes. he came
but that was long ago

Now I'm grown and strong
and unwilling to let him in
he's not welcome in my mind
and i've pushed him out
of my soul

So.
I win.

WOW! I love it! That's right, once you decide to take control of your life again, you don't HAVE to let him keep a piece of you.

Most certainly you have WON! You have won in that you don't let it destroy you. You have won, in that you got back and fought for yourself. You have truly WON! Another big,
YEAH!!!! And a big ((((HUG)))) to go with it.
