There was a time I held myself at fault.
For the actions of others and the pain they caused.

No more.

I used to bite my tounge
and obstain from objection,
Looking only to please.

No more.

I hid the pain and painted the smile.
"And all shall call you stolid."

No more.

No more will i aquiesce my identity.

I am unique.
No more Mr. Nice Guy.

Ouch....I can truly feel the burn coming from this piece. It is one thing to regret the mistakes you have made in life, it is another thing to let them harden you. There is a fine line between building up a protective shell and building impentratable armor...I hope you've chose the first.

Very nice!

You must imitate another,
Your philosiphy on morality
Is a burden on your mentality,
Your actions based on popularity,
Will never fulfill you internally,
Cuz the world was not blessed with equality,
But rather with fake geniality.

Thank you so much to all who read my poems. It means more to me than you can ever imagine. I only hope that I toutch someone.
