**This is poem is written by my good friend who I think deserves some recognition. Hope you enjoy it.** All through my life i have felt the pain, At times I feel I have nothing to gain. I deal with disappointment and heartache day by day, hoping that someday that person will come my way. The one who will break the glass i have placed around me, the glass holding me back from being the person I was meant to be. But until that day comes, I must continue to let my emotions pile, Hiding all my anger and despair with a simple smile. No one knows that behind the smile lies a saddened child drowning herself in tears, waiting to be rescued from her worries and fears. I dream of the day where someone will go that extra mile, and try to figure out what exactly is behind my smile, How they will discover the brick wall surrounding me that I have built brick by brick, tear by tear. A wall so strong that can only have been built after many years of sadness and fear. Somehow that person will diminish the wall that have kept others away. For my skies will no longer gray. But for now I can only hope and pray, for the day where all my troubles will go away. |

i can relate so well to this poem... i love this poem ... please give your friend nicely done ... ------------------ what if I, keep holding on...just maybe you'll see, that I do need you... I know you probably will never love me too, but from the second I wake up I will never stop thinking about you... |
