Stuck in my gut like a blade. The language you use only makes me fade. Tis' my heart heavy as steel. My mind pleading, with the damage of your appeal. Inside I am forever bleeding, one knife just wasn't enough. You fire your guns all around, fighting for your place on top. You act as if I'm a piece of the ground, no one is safe from the verbiage you make. A monster with fire exploding from the lips, the mercy of the world at your feet. All I can think is your vocabulary of rips, hammering upon the innocence of me. Your ego is as large as can be; does it make you feel better to put me to my knees? A thousand scrapes never to heal. Your a robber indeed of the essence that be. You just wait for one day... You'll be begging to be free, from that villian who raped a million. The images of your face glued in my mind and pierced my soul; as you claim your mighty place. Let this castle be mine to keep. Do you believe in karma? Enlightenment and compassion? The writings of the Dali Lama? What we give we ultimately receive? I beg of you to be sorry for what you say, watch your speech and let all else lay. ------------------ Julie ------------------------- Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Very well done Julie. This is excellent. 'Tis true, we do reap what we sow, no escaping that for anybody! ------------------ Denise |

Bravo! Well written! And I hope the man learns he is an equal not the Pharoh himself. ------------------ Words that enlighten the soul are more precious than jewels. ~Isis~ |

Julie...words can cut like knives, only much deeper. I find emotional scars laid on by verbal abuse take far longer to heal than any physical scars. We should all think before we speak rather than the opposite. ------------------ "Nobody has measured, not even poets, how much the heart can hold" ~Zelda Fitzgerald |

Thank you, Ladies. I think we can all agree...No one wants to be at the wrong end of that stick. ------------------ Julie ------------------------- Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. Marianne Williamson |
