I was an innocent when I began,
Along the way needing a helping hand.
When I got older things got kinda tough,
Learnin' so much is kinda rough.

Then there was others, a voice said, like me,
But it was only differences I could see.
It said, look beyond the cover
and I promise you will find your brother.
I did what it said and removed the masks,
to find real love, finally at last.

The moral of this story is...
no matter who you are,
even if you've traveled far,
or the wisdom of a thousand aces,
You will find yourself in all those faces.

Thanks for the read/comments, Hoot and Moonmoon. I don't believe we've met Moonmoon. Nice to extend my circle. This is truly a magnificent place!
