I played the part you wanted of me I shed those tears that you now see manipulated, weak, a pawn am I? Do you believe in the tears I cry? Your reputation preceded you Warned, I knew just what to do I used you as you used me don’t believe everything you see I saw the secret smile on your face as you prepared to leave my place satisfied you’d inflicted pain knowing you would do it again Powerless to stop your game I let you think I had no shame but in my heart, I cared no more for you than for my bedroom door. |

The worst punishment I can think of is "not caring". You dished it out well with this poem. |

What a shame that it can't always be like that - wonderful work! |

BRAVO!!! Sometimes there can be two players in the same game, in this case, both win and indeed both loose ------------------ "Nobody has measured, not even poets, how much the heart can hold" ~Zelda Fitzgerald |
