your deep dark eyes I try to answer the question in them. It was all a disguise, Why did I fall in love with him. You told me that you loved me, You told me that you cared. Now I can't believe, I turn around and you're not there. How am I supposed to give, After it's all been taken away? How am I supposed to live, Without you everyday? These questions were left unanswered, I'll never hear from you again. Now I say a little prayer, Pray for all my pain. I loved you more than anything, But now I'm beginning to see. Miriam: I wish I could make it better but I can't but I do know that we all fall out of love with someone at some point in our lives but that doesn't detract from the fact that at one point he did love you and maybe still does, only you know the answer to that.. I don't believe his love was true. I also do not believe in falling out of love. out of lust, out of infatuation yes, but out of love...NEVER. Love...true love. that is something that can never be left behind. I love many in my life. Not in a romantic way but still love and they will never be deserted by me. Love is patient and kind. EVER present. I am so sorry Miriam, but now you are free to find TRUE love. There is always hope. |

Marilyn: I do agree that 'true love' is a different set of emotions but how often do we find true love?...We can love someone with everything we have but they may change or our needs become different and unmet, people stop trying and sometimes habit can step in...so many different reasons...what I meant by my post was that just because we don't love someone now, doesn't mean we didn't to start with...hope that sounds a little better? I found my true love...or so i thought I did. I sort of felt that the "love" he had for me was just lust. I know how to move on and I'm really trying to. I just hate the feeling of being betrayed that's all. I know I found my true love already. I let him go though...If it's meant to be he'll be back. I love him dearly and I tell him everytime I can. Thank you all for your kind words. Just maybe I should tell them to my betrayer so that he knows that people out there can be kind. |
