counting poems in my sleep last night i slept fitfully if at all remembering you in poetry form. writing poem after poem to you in my head, when i should have been asleep. wonderful as they might have been, now with the morning light, they are all gone, my heart empty, my head aching, not a poem in sight. would that i could write you back into my arms ------------------ ©1999 Iloveit |

Another great spurt Lovey ... Pardon my ignorance but who's John Elway ? Pssst, my English is lousy but in the last stanza shouldn't it be "wish that I could ..." ? |

Rainbow girl yep lol, think I will leave the sheep alone loldsnyder...sigh, yes it sure is Balladeer, yep, guess its the poets lament, no matter how great a poet you are, you still can't "write" someone back ...sigh...thanks Mark, exactly, glad you liked it hoot...coming from you, that means a lot, love your poems too! JTF, well, John Elway, I think he is or was a quarterback for the Denver Broncos...now, as to why he keeps auntie awake, guess you are gonna have to ask her on that one lol and nope, the senitiment of the last line is stronger than wishing, it means if there were anyway possible that I could do it, then for certain I would.... and beki, thanks, and LOL@sports disabled, I know what you mean, but with me its directions, I call myself directionally disabled...and I always thought of it as a bad thing, but a friend of mine and I were talking and he said maybe I was just adventurous.....
