you promised that you would be here when i came home you were gone but on the table you left me roses you promised that you would meet me at the door but the delivery man just gave me roses with a card that read "Sorry baby....i promise to make it up to you" you promised that you would have been here when she came you said you wouldn't miss it for the world but you were not here and when the nurse cam ein she said that you sent me roses with a card that read"sorry baby....i promise to make it up to you" you asked if i liked the roses... i said no you asked what you could do to make things better i simply answered don't send me roses |

It's different, I like it, Very well spoken. Some things just can't be done with roses, and, promises, they have to be done in person. As a wise person once said to me, don't tell me show me!!! |

Why does pain make for such beautiful poetry? This is beautiful indeed. p.s. tell him to take himself and his roses somewhere else, permanently! ------------------ Denise |

I second Richard's comments. I have come to have little faith in words and apologies. I felt your words to my soul. Well done. |
