Yours is a glass heart fragile That tips on hand blown edge when touched. Once shattered, the fragments will kill. (If by rumor that is not hushed.) I've set it upon pillow plush Away from careless, thoughtless thief Who will still que up in heated rush For crystal touch that is so brief. Those who have chance to hold the heart Shall know love's longing to perish Opaque at times, but clear at start Is the star gem that I cherish. Unlike a glass window looking in, Your's is a heart that holds no sin. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

Lovely metaphor there, Seymour. You do have that 'way' with words we all desire. |

Very nice - I like the final couplet - actually, I like the whole sonnet... Nice to see you back, Soleil... |

Thank-you all for the kind words of encouragement. This was a bit flawed, but I left it unedited for personal reasons. |
