Deliver this world into comfort.
Confide in the earth.
Glorify this laughter
noone has heard.

The slave is beckoned to pay
for his master's crime.
The master sits back and watches
with scorn in his eyes.

This slave trembles as she watches.
The blessed day is now cursed.
Our souls have been condemned,
and our lives are now invisible.

Sorry, but I'm not sure what to make of it. I must not share the same perspective.

Lorelei, I commend you for writing and posting, but this is a little hard to understand. Who is the slave and why are they in slavery? I look forward to your reply!

Unless this is about you and that evil Long John, I'm lost, too.

The "slave" is the earth, the master is the human race. the earth is in slavery because noone cares to set it free. perhaps we cannot live without our "slave" who feeds us and takes care of us... maybe I should make that clearer.
