The penthouse is not accessible
With no time for poetry or reverie
And I am at a stand still
Just wishing on the wind.
It is a cram down situation
Where neither party can win.

Would you for lack of consideration
Trade a false future for a past,
With concessions sought, now tenuous
Accept terms that cannot last.

For lack thereof of definition
Ambiguous and deemed untrue
You have mortgaged a lifetime of paid risk
For those skies of indebted blue.

Negotiations suffer promises
That are made in bold defiance
Replacing the superficial discourse
But your answer comes in silence.

...And I am at a stand still
Just wishing on the wind.
It is a cram down situation
Where neither party can win.
