She gazed at the figure, sitting quietly outside. The moon beamed brightly, illuminating the silvers on the man's balding head. He was clutching tightly a photograph frame. Then he broke down crying, like a little child in pain. She felt her heart break, torn by what she saw. How she wish she could reach out and comfort him. To tell him that everything would be fine. But she couldnt. For she had only her soul left. She had so much to say, so much to share with him. But her time is up. She cant stay any longer. Holding back tears, she gazed tearfully at him. Alya....wow...this is exquisitly written. You have done a excellent job of expressing feelings of regret. The imagery in this one wonderful from the balding man to gazing tearfully, I could see and feel every word. BRAVO!!! BRAVO!!! ------------------ Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints in our heart and we are never ever the same. Thank you all for leaving footprints!! |
