Yearning, I desire, my Phantom afar.
Nightly I seek, for the words of my star.
Obstinate, yes. I ask of her no less.
Her mind understanding, times I digress.
Always in my heart, she stays on my mind.
My only true hope, is payback in kind.
A voice my soul knows and never forgets.
Long are the days, hours passing in fits.
Missing her nightly, it tortures my soul.
Alone without her, the world seems so dull.
Knowing that someday, she'll come make me whole.

Christopher,
It won't be the last time I'm pretty sure.
I would say from the sound of the poem you are fairly young. Enjoyed the read.

LOL!
Thank you all!
DE- Thwpppt! Neener-neener!
Sey- Maybe just young at heart. This poem sounds a certain way, because I wanted to do a "certain" something with it! Thank you though... I think!

Indeed, Christopher,
We stand in a very similiar situation.
Hold her close in heart and dream till, indeed, you're holding her.

payback in kind - of course. I have a greater (I win...!) hope of course, one to do with sight and touch. This is exquisite, this is precious, this is understood and held dear.

Thank you Michael and PFF, when I write of how I feel, I do so knowing that I may very well be echoing the feelings of others here, including you two, DE and one~voice, as well as many others!

K- I am so very glad you understood it, as I am sure none other would!

Marilyn-and envious you should be, but you can't have her, she's mine! LOL
