confident materialistic dreams,
schemata for a randomized
universe, casual mechanism
allowing the intellectualized
to authorize an anxious atheism...
seems collapsed at the seams.

wow.... this is so packed with words and things to think about i hardly know where to start. authorize an anxious atheism.... is an amazing bit of writing, as is this whole poem. will read it over and over and ponder.

Had to read this a couple of times ... 'an anxious atheism'...pretty good line.

Also, your web site excellent! You are prolific! Are the other poets on your 'tree' friends or is this like a web ring?

Re: the 'Goober Tree' site,
the design, color cordination, site administration amd upkeep all are the result
of the creative genius of a dear friend and unpaid amanuensis;
the 100 +/- poems of the site's featured poet
are entirely the work of him and his muse;
the rest of the poetry on the site is the product of the multiple alter egos of a single person.
