Sand grain seemed a proper name As I'm one of many, quite the same Sometimes a part of a beach in the sun Yet slipping through times glass one by one. At times I may grind in some shoe Unintentionallyby what I say or do. Though uncounted feet I've kissed, From lifes beach I wouldn't be missed. So much in life I'd wanted and planned Til I saw how Christ's carried this one grain of sand From depths of despair, getting nowhere, To coming alive, content in His care. I've at times glistened, Talked when I should've listened, Tasted success and deep lonliness And blamed when I should've confessed. I'm a sandgrain with faultering ways Open to criticism, motivated by praise. I come to join you all on lifes beach Knowing I've lots to learn and little to teach. |

Welcome to Passions...nicely done and it's a pleasure to have you here. I see Whtdove get her talents honestly ------------------ Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints in our heart and we are never ever the same. Thank you all for leaving footprints!! |

Wow!! I'm touched by the heartwarming welcome each has given me. Special thanks to Wht. Dove for leading me here and the bravery to admit I'm her mom...(she may be sorry for that one). If you haven't already guessed, I confess to being computer illiterate so really appreciate your baring with me. Thanks again!!! ------------------ |

Cool poem! But remember no two grains of sand are exactly alike. |

Thanks to CSwtTHNG, Pepper, suthern, too for reading and responding to my first submission as well as all the earlier respondants. True, no two grains are alike, exactly, but enough so we're able to relate to one another, learn from and share or there'd be no point. I'm really looking forward to becoming proficient with the workings of the computer, then watch out I'll be submitting like mad. ha |
