Never Said

I never said I was lost
But you found me

I never said I needed you
But you came

I never said I was lonely
But you kept me company

I never said I was sad
But you dried my tears

I never said I was frightened
But you protected me

I never said I wanted anyone
But you understood my longing

I never said I cared
But you gave me your all

I never said “I Love You”
But I do

PoetDeVine...thanks for this great graphic!!

Lady Hoot: Somethings just don't need to be said to be known. And the heart always hears what is not said. A wonderful piece.

Thank you each and every one of you for your kind comments

Andrew, you are very right...somethings go without being said...but sometimes it is also nice to hear those words

Jim...once more thanks for your kind words. I actually sent a manuscript out to a publisher for a book of poetry on Monday...wish me luck!!

Well stated!
I HONESTLY believe, that true love finds you, you don't find it.
A lesson here, stop looking, so that you may find.
(clap-clap) Cool!
(and how appropriate at this moment too!)

Ruth,
Another gem. Very nice poem . As always, I look forward to more. Your creativity is really flowing now, it seems. I hope I can alway inspire you in some way, and vice versa. Take care now.

Hoot: I agree with Christopher, sometimes you can also tell by what is NOT said...isn't love complicated?..

As many have stated before me, this is wonderful. How soon will you know about your manuscript? Sometimes it can take weeks and weeks. We'll wait nervously with you....

Hoot: I guess I talk too much and my list of "never said"s is entirely too small... but this makes me want to hush and listen. Absolutely beautiful!

Much said here, hoot_owl,
But to echo earlier sentiment;
Action speaks much, much louder than word.
Well done.
