I'm at the crossroads in my life,
And I've decided the way to go,
No more I'll dwell on problems,
I'll let the happiness and laughter flo.

The people who fail to make an effort,
To be with or get to know me,
They are the one's who'll lose out,
I don't have to prove myself, this is what I am this is me!

It's like a heavy burden,
Has been removed from my being,
I've earnt my badge of honour,
And now know there's not point to disbelieving.

A better friend they'll miss out on,
Their lives will be that much less,
Whilst I leave the shadows of lacking self confidence,
My emotions no longer a mess.

I'll stand proud and tall on my own,
Life my life to the full,
My laughter will take on a new tone,
No longer shall doubt be able to pull.

I'm at the crossroads,
And chosen the best road to go,
One of self sufficiency,
No more will I feel so low.

sounds like a healthy decision! :-) I wrote a song a long time ago....

"Standing at the crossroads,
not knowing where to turn.
God has something here for me,
A lesson to be learned.
I'm standing at the crossroads,
To the left or to the right?
I'll either lose my way again
Or I'll rest with God tonight."

Isis, your friendship has meant much to me. Anyone who spurns such a gift, indeed, is the one missing out. Always remember, happiness lies within self - to spend your life trying to appease others is an open invitation to grief.

Right on Isis! Michael is right! We can't depend on others to make us happy, we will always be disappointed. You're thinking in the right direction, may your feet follow after it! Good Job!!

Very good job Isis! You truly are a wonderful friend!Thank you for the help the other night.I really thought I didn't have anyone, then you came along and showed me that there are people who do care.It is their loss if they don't know you.
Well done soul sis!
