~*~*~Daddy's Little Girl~*~*~ I'm Daddy's little girl, you can tell just by our dark brown curls. Daddy's little girl I will forever be, forever, without a doubt, indeed, I don't know what it is, that makes me this. I suppose it is the love of his. We've had our share of quarrels, fights by the dozen. But when it really counted, he always gave me all of his loving. Glancing upon memories, when I was a little girl, I know we are, each other's world. Remembering sitting upon Daddy's lap, watching the circus, and seeing the colorful, red-nosed clowns, making us laugh. Watching the tight rope act in the air, making us both in amazement, stare. Memories of comfort, when I was scared. I always knew he cared. Taking me to the Barnstable County Fair, and making hi paper ties, for Father's Day, he always saved them every time. I'm my Daddy's little girl, no matter how big I get, or old I become, I will always be his girl, simply because he is my world. ------------------ "Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment." -Buddha |
