in Open forum with no sense of decorum because on page one I'm stuck. I've read every poem on page one but could reply to none and that is truly rotten luck. I'm tempted to rail and curse with my exquisite verse, against this unmerciful fate. I find 11 hours without the forum and my mind cowers, it's being up again does elate. Thanks much Ron! ©1999 DreamEvil ------------------ Now and forever my heart hears ~one voice~. DreamEvil© |

That's okay, WhtDove... I cursed enough for both of us! LOL. One long drawn out, nearly never ending "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, shoot!" is cursing... right? *G* DE: Well done... I wonder if there's a Betty Ford clinic for poetry addicts? *G* |

I really liked this poem. Unfortunatly, I'm a bit confused about why you couldn't respond to the poems. Did you feel that none of them were worthy of response? Or is there something else I'm missing? |

OHMYGOD! Like Being locked in the Library all night! LOL Wish I'd been locked in with you..what fun we could have had chasing each other through the forums! I enjoyed this poem, by the way! :-) ------------------ "We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion.....the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse. What will your verse be?" --John Keating, Dead Poets Society |

Tricky move, DE, getting yourself locked in that way... I can think of some Twilight Zone type twists that could make for a very interesting story! Christopher & Lucie (and Toe, too) - I didn't think of your missives as guilt trips, but rather as keeping me company during a very long and boring vigil. Besides, guilt doesn't work well on me - I've been married too many times (sort of like vaccinations, ya know). |

*sniff, sniff* Artur, 'tis glad I am that I was not alone. LOL Ron, I was thinking the twilight zone had descended upon me, but at least I got to read some excellent verse. Being stuck for 11 hours did have me re-running some Tales From The Darkside as well. Thamk you everyone for your sympathy. It just chokes me up. Ron: ROFL @ I've been married too many times (sort of like vaccinations, ya know). hmmmmm...That was a much needed reminder...my next injection is due..*g* HUGS ------------------ You give but little when you give of your possessions.
