One bright sunny afternoon I was out walking
around, I had walked only a few blocks from
my house, when she caught my eye. She was
sitting there all alone in a vacant lot.
Quite curious I was, it got the best of me,
I just had to walk over there to see what
I could do for her. I could look through
her, and see that she was just a shell of
what she used to be. I tried to talk to her,
but it was to no avail, she gave no replies,
as she sat beaten down, and tattered, and
broken. With a caring hand I helped her up,
and gave her a lift. maybe she wasn't much,
but to me she was a gift. I even took her
home. As the months past, I nurtured her,
gave her much care, and most importantly
T.L.C. She came back to life with so much
luster, her beauty returned to her. When we
went out on the town, she turned all the
boy's heads' young, and old alike.
Boy was she slick, she had a 454, and a four
speed stick!! She was candy apple red, with
white stripes too. I love my 1972 Chevy
Malibu.

I like it - It's nearly prose, but that doesn't matter - It's a very cute story...

I just wanted to stop by, and say thanks
for all the good replies. this poem was a
product of thoughts of my youth, in other
words I was a real gear head!!!!!!
