When I Think Of You Now When I think of you now I remember the curve of your back and your scent on my pillow after you'd gone. Of all the places I've ever been Your body was the most inviting. Every time we traveled back to each other was like coming home. We never needed words, no apologies or promises; Just a single touch, an open heart and open arms to welcome us back. And now there are no words To say the way it really was. When I think of you now I know that love is only the hope of finding my way home to the curve of your back. © Beki (1989) ------------------ "We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion.....the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse. What will your verse be?" --John Keating, Dead Poets Society |

Beki.....this is an excellent piece......the flow is so smooth and carries the reader in it's wake. I absolutely loved this one ------------------ "In the depths of winter, I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer" ~Albert Camus |
