dappled sundrops whispering autumn trees meadow flecked with wild color like the splattering from an artist's brush soft feathers of clouds like my lover's kisses float on October skies Green Velvet embraces passion melts crashing thunder light like a stained glass kaleidescope shatters through me as your heart meets mine in a sunlit glen ------------------ Every man has in himself a continent of undiscovered character. Happy is he who acts Columbus to his own soul.......J. Stevens |

The imagery here is lovely...a wonderful first poem...keep writing! :-) ------------------ "We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion.....the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse. What will your verse be?" --John Keating, Dead Poets Society |
