I fear it's coming, you final goodbye-
to fight the tears, I will try.

Will you ever forget my heart holds you tight?

Will you ever long to hold me in the night?

Would you miss my smile, so tender for you?
My love, my kisses, so warm and true?

The black clouds will come as they always do..
And when you are gone, how I will long for you.

I can feel the future's pain, my sad rain
hoping you will remain....

In the end, I set you free.
To be the person you long to be.
Even though my heart will break,--so will the chain;
that keeps you here with me.

And all that I have learned
I turn inside
to my tears
and will forever hide
the life you will lead

without me...your sweet stefanie
