(This was written in a game of poetry tag with Johnt300....we thought we'd post it to see what you thought...thanks Tyson...hugs )

A New Day

The harsh surf crashes upon the sand
Lifting seagulls with noisy flight
The sound of both the waves and gulls
Muted by the beating of my own heart
With your hand in mine, cherished friend
The ocean seems but a world away
With our toes sunk in the sand
We walk along the waters edge
Horizons view within our reach
And lifes new day has just begun

I figured it's about time I comment to you first instead of last - but either way, I enjoy just as much - especially when it's about the ocean... If this is a joint effort, keep up the good teamwork..
