This is a short story. I will have to this in parts.

"The Other Side of the Window"

What does it mean to make the right decisions in life? She pondered there in her room upon the bed staring on the ceiling. She could count the constellations of the yellow speckle above her. The sun now left the sky with purple and fire orange hues reflecting from the lake. Out of all of her favorite things she loved the sun sets.

Her dog laid on her lap and snored profusely. The young girl petted her fluffy little teddy bear. The dog had a nose particular to a poodle and thus was nicknamed rat. But for some reason this girl loved this fluffy red rat.

She heard the sound of her mothers strained voice calling for supper. This was her least favorite time of the day. Her mother lacked the patience to fully cook certain foods well. After a few class projects on parasites the site of her meat with the bloody red color made her stomach turn.

It was bacon and eggs.

She swore she could see a living tape worm within what appeared to be a cyst on the bacon. Her mother reassured her that it was artery walls and not a parasite, but the girl didn't believe her and offered her mother her bacon. Her mother loved bacon.

After her stomach was full she returned to her room to see her precious sun set had dissipated by the veil of a cloudy night. It was too dark to see anything outside of the window and now it was time to do her homework. She had to fight with her dog for lap space for her book and sure enough she was started on her homework.

to be continued....

Part 2

Her room was once her older sister's.  She is now done with collage and living her own life.  She must have loved mirrors, because her door was mirrors and she had two full length mirrors, just in case you couldn't see yourself in the other two.  There was something something very unsettling about the mirrors.  She couldn't explain it in words, but it made her feel naked or exposed.

After her homework was finished she ready was for bed. Her dog, knew her routine to the tee were the sound of the television turning off would send her dog straight to her bed.  she parked her self inconveniently in the center.  Any motion to kick her off or move her would result in a whimper.

The unconditional love of a dog.

She was dressing into her night gown when she heard her dog growl. She responded by muttering profanities at the dog.

As she turned her head to the mirror- the refection showed a face looking through the window which caused her to freeze.

She wanted to scream but nothing came out as the face disappeared into the darkness.

Interesting little story.  Do you have more?  You might want to improve your spelling.  For example, a collage is a collection of newspaper and magazine clippings matching a particular theme mounted on a bulletin board.  I think the word you were looking for was college.

Keep up the story.

Life's short.  Think hard!

Despite a few minor spelling and grammatical errors, it was well-written. I would like to see if it goes any further.
