This is the last time she will look at her house. The girl who moved in down the street from me will move out as an adult, she fills out her jeans nicely. All grown up and college bound. She Walks out to her ford focus with the last bag of her precious objects. All of her memories from her childhood, neatly packed away in the back of her car. She walks up to the lawn to go inside the now disturbingly empty house that was once her house. She pauses at the edge of the lawn. her mind is overcome with a painful sensation, she will leave behind all games she played in the front yard, her first kiss, prom night, everything. Then no longer able to resist she runs, full sprint, accross the lawn. Skips over the bushes and lands on the porch, just like she did in her memories. She was able to hold back her tears and the child inside her was set free. |

NoRunnin~ An interesting read~ There is always a saddness that overcomes one when they leave for college (or for any reason really) ... then the goodbye *kiss* that releases the emotions that are associated with the action~ I do hope to read more from you~ *Huglets* ![]() ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |
